Love this truck!

Picked up a 2022 ORP with KDSS a few weeks ago, but wanted to get a couple little mods going before posting. Loving the practicality and capability so far, and the community's not bad either

Had the wheels powdercoated a nice dark bronze and swapped out stock tires for KO2's


TRD Faux grille letters painted to match


Balls for knobs!


Blacked out the silver valances this weekend but no good pics yet. Thinking a set of LFD crossbars are next on the list, minor lift down the road, supercharger if I win the lottery?

It was about $100 per wheel, and another $100 for painting the center caps and toyota letters. Well worth it

 

Yeah. Rims look 10x better.

 

Refreshing to have a new member who is actually happy with his truck and is not complaining about fuel economy, slowness, or “outdated technology.”

 

LOL those are all the reasons I got a 4Runner! Came from an e46 so all the tech and screens and whatnot are taking some adjusting as it is. Reliable, durable, go-anywhere perfection

 

The wheels came out great, nice work so far! You'll continue to love it, no more Vanos or similar things to worry about like you do with the Germans

 

Oh, also, I could be mistaken but I don't believe the supercharger is available for 20 (or 21?) + models due to different software from Toyota. That's the last I learned when researching the Magnuson supercharger.

 

I don't like the bronze wheels I see on posts but this dark bronze TRD ORP is really really good..!!
Might help others if you share the color code / details if you like for any one looking to do the same. Really like the look of it..

 

Haha thanks, not sure of the exact color code but it was called "matte bronze" in the shop. They look almost black in the shade (darker than the photo) and pop nicely in direct sun. Subtle but not boring or overly flashy imo. Think anything brighter on these wheels might be a bit much... at least for me

Personally, I don't care for the shifters but that's what makes a horse race. Rims look TOXIC!!!!!!! Nice rig!
