I have a
1994 white with blue decals
3.0L V6 5 speed 4x4
and a
2005 blue
4.0 v6 auto 2wd.... gotta clean them up and I will post them

 

Babies can fit in 4Runners.

I have 2 of them (babies).

 

Keep the 5 speed to teach the babies, when the time comes. You know it'll still be running in 16 years.

But Why sell?? They gotta be paid for by now? Safe for xporting baby around vs ????? you replace them with?? But then again I trade whatever I own. for what I want when my current vehicle hits 70k mi That is when I start to seriously start looking.

 

Unless it is about the cash, I do not know why people think they have to get rid of the fun toys. My boys were raised in my slammed Subbie, lol.

But the 4th Gen? My GX is my grocery getter and child carrier (same platform).

Tons of room for a kid, wife, and 2 dogs even.

 

Some guys are destined to drive highlanders and Foresters. It's better they let the fun toys go to others who would utilized the rigs more.

 

Ha, yeah. I am planning ahead. The wife is already having problems getting into the 94... well the plan is getting a different vehicle for her and the baby when it comes.

Why don't you let me do a "review" on that '94 before you post it? You know to make sure it's going to be O.K. to the prospective buyer. I might be interested in it also. BTW, congrats on the baby!

 

The miles on the '94 are at 270k... water pump, thermostat, powersteering pump, timing chain and guides and the 3 belts were done at 260k.

Clean second gen would love to have. Does it have a sunroof?

 

I bought Goldie in 1990 BECAUSE of us having a baby.

 

Yeah has a sun roof. I'm between Houston and Galveston.

 

I have done alot of work on it... I replaced the dash, steering wheel, seat covers, carpet, and dyna mat for sound. The interior is clean...

 

Exterior... I have replaced front and rear bumpers, grill, turn signals, door handles, mirrors, replaced the window motors on the doors (haven't done the rear yet), new speakers in the doors and a 10 inch in the rear.. all hidden. Tried to keep the look very OEM. Inside the stereo head unit and shift knobs are the only custom visible.

 

So what are you asking for her

All 3 of my kids were raised riding in 4th gen 4Runners. Wife had a 2003 2wd v8 and I had a 2006 4wd v8. Combined 300k miles hauling them around the city/country.

 

I justified getting rock sliders so my pregnant wife had less problems getting into our 2016. She didn’t buy it, and still complains you have no running boards on the ‘94 pictured

Lowering the '94 to factory height and putting it back on 31s isn't an option, I'm guessing. To compare, my 78-year-old mother with two hip replacements and a hernia surgery can still get into my '94 Pickup with factory 31" tires.

 

Yeah after driving on the lift with bilsteins with 33s... I would rather sell it than drive with it stock. Hahaha
