Looking to add a skid plate to my 07 4runner

    I'm looking to do this mod, to my 07 4Runner I guess its a tacoma skid plate but the darn part is discontinued. been doing a bit of homework and am hearing that the similar years tundra/sequoia can fit just minor mods?? has anyone in the group done it. if so, MUCH MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

    I love my skid plates, and my car is in the Bahamas. Never bottomed out on a speed bump, but they keep all that water and dirt from hitting engine and transmission.

    The OEM "skid plates" as in the pictures above (black) - underneath the engine and a second one under the tranny - are good engineering from Japan.

    Should be able to find them at a junk yard, perhaps.

    Mine are 15 years old with just slight superficial rust.
