I have a '17 SR5 Premium and so I don't have the valences. I've done some other visual mods and the bumper just looks like it's missing something. I don't think I want to spend the time or money required for adding a full blown metal bumper at this point with some other necessary upgrades/upkeep as immediate needs so it'd be quite awhile before that would realistically be an option. I also don't really have a need for that sort of upgrade because I only do light off-roading for camping trips.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or ideas to enhance the bumper because I can't really seem to find anything that isn't just an aftermarket bumper. I'm sort of surprised they haven't made a valence specifically for the SR5's.

It's looking like I might have to get a whole new metal bumper but on the off chance someone on here was in a similar boat and found a solution, I thought I'd message. Pretty open to suggestions but I will say I don't have a lot of interest in just putting vinyl over it. Don't want to cheap all the way out.

    Thanks!

Well you're going to get a lot of replies from all of us enablers, gladly willing to help you spend your money. :) So I'll start with a metal bumper suggestion, the SSO Slimline.

You can add an aftermarket or oem valence to an SR5. I believe the backside of the bumper has grooves in it that tell you where to cut slots to accept the valance
