Looking for factory take off parts from a magnuson supercharger install.

I have a 4runner that was running a Magnuson supercharger. 2024 4runner Trd Pro. It was removed unwillingly by an unsavory character. So I would like to put it back to stock but finding all the parts and pieces is becoming daunting. Toyota is too expensive and all the parts houses don't have all that I need and most are a little bit sketchy. Just curious if anyone has knowledge of the whole setup or might have it themselves. Thanks in advance.

Can you file an insurance claim? Some people here who had mice damage were able to file.

 

I really didn't want to mess with insurance. I have 2 new drivers to the family and my rates are already so high. I figured it would be cheaper to try and buy it second hand

Would you be better off buying a used engine from a wrecker, taking what you need and then selling whatever is left over?

Good idea. But every engine I am finding has issues or high mileage.

 

My thoughts also. It was in an accident. So someone at the dealership must have seen it on there. It was front end so the hood must have been open and the wrong person saw it.

 

So, it was at the dealership when this happened?

 

No. But it was there. I decided to fix it all myself when it happened. The accident damage and now the supercharger thing. It is a long story. I wish I could actually have someone to blame. I bought the car damaged as is. Then this happened. So in addition to the body repairs now I need to get it running again.

 

Funny how "Someone else's trash is another's treasure". I kept for over two years all the stock components in a bag from when I got the Maggie installed. As usual, the bag gets moved around the garage, you keep it there just in case....and another thing comes in and you wonder, would i ever return my 4R to stock, (Nah, why). And so about 1 year or so ago I just threw away all of those parts because they weren't worth anything as-is.

My recommendation is that you look at the Magnusun Installation booklet which shows all the parts that are taken off during the install and you can see what they are. However, at the end of the day, you would need to go to the dealer and get some of the "hoses" and the intake piece as I doubt aftermarket will sell these things piece meal like that. Good luck! So, you just need the entire top end from the intake up?

 

You are exactly the guy I was looking for. Just a year too late! And yes I am a glutton for punishment. my wife is still a bit mad I took this project on! Hahaha

 

Correct. Then I will need to source the injector plugs. Napa offers them as pigtails. So if I can find the other stuff all at once it would be great.

 

Might be less expensive to find a long block for sale. Or search pick n pull junkyard. Maybe even buying a wreck from copart.

 

I am getting some leads now. Just hoping to find the whole bundle with low miles. Since the truck has only 2800 miles.
