I know some of you out there have friends in high places. Let me know who can get me a good deal. Im in anaheim and so far have been quoted 42k. I know there is a better deal than that available. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. By the way, im new here so no need for sarcastic or useless comments. Just trying to get help.

    42k seems reasonable.
    What options?

Can get the cross bars Ebay cheaper
    Running boards cheaper also.
    Door guards cheaper
There's a few that can go through a dealership cheaper.

And i dont care too much for a sunroof. Great if its there but no big deal. Most upgrades i would do myself anyways so the options are irrelevant to me. Only one im curious about is the kdss. And i have read mixed reviews on it

You can save a lot of money if you can pinpoint the things you absolutely don't want to mess with putting on aftermarket wise. For me that was really only the seats so I opted for the Softex as I didn't want cloth. Everything else is just parts from performance to eye candy. If you really want to save some money find yourself an SR5 Premium that was used as a loaner. You'll get it for about $4k-5kK cheaper than original sticker with under 5k miles on it. Then you can add all the stuff you wanted on it yourself, but make it more to suit your personality and needs....then again if you don't have time for this to become your new obsession just go get the one you got quoted and be done with it. :computercoffee:

Watch out for dealerships that adds mark-up pricing. North Hollywood Toyota wanted 50k with the same options and with mark-up. I called on their BS and got them to erase that.

Do I need a certain time here or a certain number of posts to respond.
    I say no.
Buy a T4R & enjoy it! I just want to drive it more & more the better I feel behind it!
We went from an Infiniti G35xs (we have 2 pick ups) & have not only no remorse but we love it. Even at the price & mileage! Lol
I wish I could daily drive it! The wife is happy...

Did you pull the trigger yet?

I have KDSS and wouldn't even consider buying one without it.

If you plan on doing major suspension work, you might want to skip it.

I read that kdss has better on road manners. I’m all for that as unless I drive an hour plus there is zero off-road in Chicago. Many roads qualify for off-road. Anyway about suspension. Is new coil overs out of the question? I’ve tried spacers on my ford and rode like a brick. Went to fox and halo coil over and they are awesome

I think there are some threads about it. But, my understanding is that you can do a slight lift, coil-overs, ETC without issue. It's major lift that will cause it to complicate things.

I found my best deal at Carson Toyota. No real negotiations, just contacted them on line about a specific Runner I wanted that happened to be exactly what I wanted and their price was a solid $5,000 less than anywhere else.
