I've had my FJ cruiser 2007 since new and am looking at buying a 2021 Venture
Dark Gray blackout version. Have 1st dibb's with the dealer when it gets here.

FJ Has: Total Chaos regular travel with Icon front shock/struts, winch, Road Armer bumper and low ratio diffs to run 35" under skids armer from Metal tec. Lots of other mods.
Now I'm trying to figure out what parts may swap out to a 4Runner if any of you folks can
advise. Or should I look at the TRD Pro? Or even thinking new Bronco may be worth a look.

I'm new on this forum but not new to fairly aggressive mods.

Welcome. I just sold my 07 FJ that I had since new that was all modded, too. Sold it to my nephew for dirt cheap. Looking to get back into a 4Runner soon. Our last one was a 2015 SR5 that we sold to our Son. That one had 0 issues in 124K.

If it was me I'd go with a TRD Pro. I wouldn't even consider a Bronco. Yeah, I love the look and they're super cool but underneath it all they're still just a Ford. I talked to an old acquaintance last week who asked my opinion of the Eco Boost in the F150s. He knew I'm an auto technician but I didn't know he owned the truck he was talking about. I told him they make a lot of power but I don't think they hold up very well. He then told me his truck has less than 80k miles and it's had 3 turbo replacements, (one failed once, the other failed twice), and now it's at the dealer having the engine replaced. 80K miles. I told him my Tundra has 160k on it and the only true repair it's ever had was a water pump. That's just one example of why I stick with Toyota.

I'm debating between SR5 Prem. or TRD OR Prem. I would most likely get a 2021.

I have had my doubts about the Bronco as well...my 2014 Tundra has not had any issues now at 200k km. Keeping it for the power and hauling toys and trailer.
    I have a 2021 Venture model (Canadian)
it has KDSS on hold to first right ... dark grey.
Will have it lifted 2.5 and get some either Ridge Grapplers or Toyo's likley 33" maybe more?
And would put Victory partial front bumper for a winch. Right away if i pull the trigger omn this one.
