    Hello,

I have 16' 4Runner Limited with smart key that will not lock using the touch sensor on the handles or the up lock button for the rear window. The doors will unlock when grabbing the handle and unlock when pushing the down button on rear window. However the car will lock and unlock perfectly using the wireless remote.

I can rule out door actuators as some were already and they are working great.

The issue is that when pushing the lock button (touch sensor on handles and lock button on rear window) nothing happens, no feedback or even a lock trying to engage. Its like the car doesn't register input of any kind with the smart key system. Unlocking/locking with the car remote works fine which makes the issue so confusing.

Any ideas as to what it could be? Is there a separate harness/fuse/computer that only affects the locking function using smart key by chance?
    Thanks.

Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it fixed it. Looks like one of the cars computers was just messing up.
