    Here's to another expensive hobby!

Picked up our Luna Rock ORP outside of Los Angeles late last night 10/31. Came from a Land Rover Discovery Sport and before that a Toyota Camry (Crazy to see a build thread from that vehicle over 10 years ago).

Looking to add a lot of accessories: roof rack, headlights, CBI bumper, etc.
(holding off until Black Friday for all the purchases)

Looking forward to sharing my adventures and buildout with everyone.

    Good Land Rover, never again.

    11/1/2022 - 14 hours later - Tint.

11/19/2022 - Interior LEDs and Footwell Lighting by VLEDs

    11/26/2022 - Ironman4x4 suspension done by 88 Rotors with UCAs and 285 KO2s

    11/27/2022 - Morimoto headlights - Amber
TRD Skid Plate - Car Trim Home
TRD Pro Grille - Car Trim Home
    Morimoto 4 Banger Fogs
Morimoto 4 Bangers - Ditch Lights
    Ironman Rock Sliders

12/3/22 - Raptor Lights, Hella Horns.

3Dmats came up but fitment wasn't even close. Turns out they scanned and measured a 3rd row /7 seater 4Runner.

Sending back and picking up Weathertechs like I should have from the beginning.

    https://streamable.com/p4jnh9

12/15/22 - WeatherTechs are here. 3DMats are sent home. 3DMat Customer Service said they scanned a 3 row 4Runner which explains the discrepancy. They took the mats back no problem, but it'll be the last time I deviate from WeatherTech. Got all rows and cargo mat.

12/16/22 - Molle Panels by Cali Raised LED
I decided to get these because of the extra wing at the bottom. My drinking buddy has the Victory Molle Panels. Those are nice because of the extra holes between the panels. Not sure what to mount yet. But I've got a first aid kid, IFAK, fire extinguisher and paper towel roll holder on it.

11/17/22 - Phoenix Automotive Tesla Screen
Install was pretty straightforward. Can't bluetooth for media to play. Bluetooth for phone calls is perfect. It's a pretty cool screen. A big "wow" factor for passengers.

12/18/22 - CBI Bumper, IronMan Winch, Diode Dynamics 30" Lightbar, Factor 55 fairlead and Flatlink

1/6- Roof Rack - Ordered my Prinsu rack on 11/7/22. Deliveries 1/6.

Ran out of beers for the ladder. Will start on that after a grocery store run.

    1/7 - Prinsu Ladder

    1/18/2023
Rear Dash Cam - Mobius Maxi Action Cam C - Same dash cam as the front
(which I forgot to post about)
    Mounted Reco Boards from Ironman4x4
    Mounted Storage Box from Monoprice

We have fluid and electronics issues.

Coolant leaks. Brake fluid just started leaking yesterday from the reservoir. Window switches sometimes work and others don't ever. I only have 90K miles on it. Never again.

@Lockdown is that a replica or genuine TRD PRO grille? Truck looks awesome! We have the same trim/color on order arriving in either December or January

The grille came from Car Trim Home aka the CCP.

    So replica.

Know what I know now, I should have put machine screws through it before mounting it. I don't have confidence in the CCP 3M tape.

@Lockdown curious what you think of the 4banger fogs? I assume you went wide on those. I have the 4banger HXB whites in wide as my ditch/ A pillar and I love them I've been considering the HXB amber for fogs swap outs. Love to hear your thoughts

Not a fan of my 4banger fogs. They don't adjust low enough. I feel badly for blinding every one on the road. Next time I have my bumper off I'm going to try to MacGyver some shit to lower them even more.

My neighbor is getting Diode Dynamic fogs coming in the next few days. I'm going to check out how much adjustment he has on his.

    @Lockdown
When I hear "Lockdown" I think of Transformers, and you got a sick rig too! How are you liking those Cali Raised LED Molle Panels? I first saw it on Trail4Runner posted by Ryan L and fell in love with it but have not pulled the trigger on it yet (It's gonna be this year though!). Initially I was going to buy the Alpha Foxtrot because the ease of removing (and adding a 2nd) the shelving seemed easier but the install/quality is not so so. Is it pretty easy to remove the shelf on that panel or do you have to take everything apart (left side of the self, middle piece, right side of shelf) or does it simply lift off with the little hooks/brackets on the edges? I saw the install from Cali Raised and it looks super easy but you know, sometimes when you have to carry the big bulky stuff, that shelf's temporarily gotta go ASAP! When your back seats are tilted all the way back, does the headrest touch/rub/hit the shelf too or is there enough clearance (if so just roughly eyeballing how much inches until it rubs)? And the view, does your view get obstructed with the shelf? I went the cheap route and bought a Raingler net for our road trip to Moab last year, it got the job done but by the time I packed stuff on it, the middle drooped down blocking almost 25-50% of the rear window view so it was kind of a pain not seeing if there were cars behind me so looking to replace that one forsure.

I really like the Cali Raised MOLLE panels. I'll have to take a picture of how I have it set up now. I like that they are steel so it is magnetic, some manufactures are using aluminum. I went with the Cali Raised option because of the lower wings for mo MOLLE.

Removing is going to be the same as installation, won't be difficult. No interference with the passengers in the second row.
The view when backing up is a little obstructed, given I also have tinted rear windows. But you'll just have to use your mirrors and cameras to back into the parking spot. Not a big adjustment.

Got the rear dash cam working. Used a +12V from the tail light. Grounded to the body of truck above the tail light, a lot more difficult than it should have been. My previous vehicle, which was a Range Rover, had a fuse box in the back. It was super easy.

Also mounted my storage box on the roof rack w/ Reco Boards from Ironman (Free w/ suspension purchase)

Dash cams are Mobius. I'll post video clip over the weekend.
