I recently upgraded my tires to KO2's stock size (265/70R17), but now I would like to add a 2 inch lift. Will my tires look too small with the lift addition? Should I get sell the new tires and upgrade to a larger size?

I would run the KO2's and focus on other mods, ie armor, recovery gear, or whatever else you're planning. Then upgrade the tires when the KO2's wear out.

    Just my .02.

Probably, I am in a similar situation. I am planning on a 2" lift in the spring of '22 and I am concerned that my 275's will look out of proportion.

265 will not look too small. Especially when using a good AT tire.

lots of people run stock size or 275's with a small lift.... it looks just fine, especially if the tires are on the more aggressive side. that being said, I'm going up to 285's immediately when my suspension finally gets delivered even though I only have 7000km's on my stock size general grabber ATX's. if you search around I believe there is a thread with pictures of stock size tires with a lift to give you an idea.... some look good, and some bad (usually when they are on the factory tires. those things suck).

@AmazerTazer06 here is mine right after the lift on stock size KO2's. 2.4" front, 1.5" rear.

Do/did those rims push the tires out a bit more?

Yes. They're -6 offset, which pushed them out a little under an inch from stock.

I run 275s with a bit less than 2" lift and they look great.

Here’s mine, stock size KO2s. The lift ended up being almost a 3in/2in lift.

To be fair, it’s sitting lower (above) since it’s loaded down.

Here it is with no cargo.

    Eventually Ill get 285s

Hey @2Toys - so the 275's look good...I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a 2" lift and larger tires. Do the 275's perform well with no rubbing?

Can anyone else weigh in on tire size for a 2020 TRD Premium with a 2" lift?

When I first put them on, there was a little rub at full steering lock while backing up in reverse. A little trim of the forward side at the bottom of the wheel well took care of some of it. I should have left it alone at this point. A few months ago, I decided to replace the upper control arms with SPC UCAs from Toytec lifts to try to get rid of the small rub. The alignment shop was in a big hurry (end of day) and did not adjust the caster on the left front like they did on the right. Now I have a good rub on the rear fender well at the splash guard / mud flap. I have not put very much mileage on the truck over the winter, but I plan to have this resolved this week.

Not at all. While I'll put larger tires on next time around, just like @McSpazatron, I don't think it looks out of place at all. 2.5/1.5 lift here.

What's the largest diameter tire can I go with after a 3" front and 2" rear lift? I was thinking the yokohama geolanders

They're awesome! These are 295/70/17. I have a body mount chop, modified fender liners, and front mudflaps removed. Lift is 2.3/1.5"
