Hello Everyone. I have 2005 SR5 now still going strong with 292,000 miles. This is my daily driver. I have not had any major problems with it and would like to get some suggestions on getting it slightly lifted and probably even place some protection for the front.

'Slightly lifted' is very relative. Exactly how tall? If you just want maybe 1/2" then a Daystar or other suspension tophat spacer is probably simplest and cheapest. If you want anywhere between 1-3" then you're getting into new shock/spring territory. As far as reputation goes all of Bilstein, Old Man Emu, Dobinsons, and Ironman4x4's cheaper (not lower quality) offerings are probably your best bet.
As for armor, also depends on what you want. Aluminum or steel? Front bumper or hybrid? Rear? Only front skid plate or full coverage? Rock sliders?

there are TONS of threads on every option and manufacturer out there. Consider exactly what you want and use that search bar and let us know where you're headed
