I am looking to level out my 2020 4runner, i already have done wheels tires and a bumper is on the way. Next step, is i want it level with only raising the total height 1.5 inches total. Is it better to buy a leveing kit or a full suspension set.

    Thank You

If you have a bumper on the way, you’ll want a suspension lift. It’s doable with spacers, but ride will probably be horrible with added weight in the front. Spend some time reading about spring rates so you know how heavy of a spring you’ll need to support the weight up front and maintain the ride height you’re wanting. And then obviously shocks, you’ll want to research and see what fits your needs and the difference between digressive, progressive, and linear shocks.

I have a leveling spacer and it's fine. You're adding an extra weight bumper, so I agree with Mtbpsych.

This is what I did just to level my 18 4runner. Front Bilstein 5100 set at .85 lift and I added a 3/8" spacer on the driver side and 1/4" spacer on the passenger side. This eliminated the typical Toyota Truck lean and I still have about a 1/2" lower in the front then the stock back height. Here is a photo of my 4runner.

Sorry I just realized that you're getting a front bumper, you will need new front spring to support that bumper or you can use your original spring and install your Bilstein 5100 at 1.75" and see where it ends up with the front bumper on.

i would install the bumper first and see where you at and where you want to be for the hight with added weight but most definitely your going to need the suspension upgrade or at-least springs swap for the front spacers will not be enough to handle it

You could get 5100's with heavy or medium load springs to accommodate the bumper. Or, any aftermarket front coilovers should have options for added weight.

Like @edgesalon said, get the bumper installed before doing the suspension. It will throw things off a bit, and you'll need to get an alignment after everything settles.

I say suspension kit. I went with an Icon setup personally. I actually just took off my 21 TRD Pro suspension yesterday. I wanted more lift and wheel travel.

He has it listed in FS section. So tempting! But, eh, I want lift.

Any chance you're looking to part ways with the PRO setup, if you haven't already?
