So I suppose CD would be similar but I haven't used them in years now. Been driving around listening to sirus or HD radio and even with factory "premium" sound it sounds like crap.
Amazon lunched a service with 50 million songs at CD lossless and 10 more million at 10x the bitrate of even Tidal who has held the crown for quality streaming music.

They give you 90 days to try for free. don't like it, quit and don't pay. Google it and look what the pros are saying "quote" Its a game changer! Every other service will have to try to match them or drop out.
Anyway simple bluetooth streaming and sounds good, even it the 4runner

Mine sounds pretty good. Never tried the radio but my phone plays nice via bluetooth with only occasional difficulty. I use an app called PowerAmp to play from a play list (MP4's or whatever the current format is) from the phones's SD card. Even my teenagers approve.
