    Hi all,

I’m in LA and just purchased bilstein 5100 front and rears and rear coils.

Looking for a shop to do the install as I’m not that mechanically inclined.

Any recommendations for folks in the LA area?

Only quote I’ve gotten at this point is from 88Rotors. $750 for the lift and $450 for the BMC.

I’ll get some more quotes but does that seem pretty fair?

will likely not do the BMC but curious for the future.

    22 ORP btw

Same labor price for suspension lift install here in Denver CO at reputed Toyota specialized 4x4shops.

Might be little out of your way but RPM Garage in Monrovia.

I can vouch for 88rotors doing good work on lifts and BMCs. They don't have a super aggressive cut but it looks factory and I fit 34's just fine I could prob do 35 but not looking to go that far yet.

One thing I did have a issue was the the paint they used on mine wasn't great (started to chip and rust) and I had fully sand off, prep and repaint mine and its been fine since then. Living in CA I don't think you have too much issue but if you can paint it yourself I recommend that.

Also pricing is fairly same I got mine done in 2020 and it was 650 / 350 respectively. Nice thing is they will complete the work same day

RPM garage is one option up in Monrovia. I've been there for alignment and road force balance. They're slightly on the pricier side (I think they just raised prices recently too), but you get what you pay for.

LBR off road is another option in Bellflower. It's a one man show ran by Paul, who's done it for almost 10 years. Even though it's a small shop, he still gets wholesale pricing on wheels, tires, even Morimotos. Got my 285s and Morimotos here and zero complaints. Paul even has a couple cool rigs himself that I've seen him work on.

Both are equally knowledgable IMO, it just comes down to the type of job, distance from you, price, and wait time. Both are more than capable of doing a simple lift.

Edit: I will say that RPM is usually pretty booked up, booking 1 month - 1.5 month out usually. LBR is much easier to book, usually same week.

I used 88rotors for a lift with UCAs on a limited so they also did the fender mod. I have no complaints. After I had minor rubbing so a did a bmc at 4wheelparts in Torrance. 88rotors was to far to go back for just a bmc. I thought 4wheelparts was just fine too.
