    Ive been with Knight for 25 years. They designed/invented the inline muzzleloader. I’m using a rare sequential serial numbered magnum with 150 grains of powder, 300 grain .50 cal. high pressure sabot slug.
    Velocity=2,000ft/sec
    Energy=3000ft/lbs
    Put a 50mm Nikon scope on it back in 00. I took it to the range and fired one shot at a hundred yards. Well after the smoke cleared I knew I am set for the season!

    I am shooting a CVA, but these modern in-line muzzleloaders are amazing. I can get 3 inch groupings at 100 yards with iron sights, and I’m not even a particularly good shooter.

    Here was this seasons cow.

    I also have their muzzleloading shotgun. It holds a 1/4 more pellets than a 3 1/2 mag 12ga...

    He is 90# dressed the big one won’t come out yet. 120 inches with bow is Pope and Young. Now I’m going for 160 inches Boone and Crocket buck! it was an incredible hunt. The sun finally came out and right as it set this guy came creepin and gave me a broadside shot at 65 yards. Perfect shot and still ran fiftey yards luckily I found the horn.

    I’m practicing QDM (quality deer management) I know it sounds weird but I’m managing the heard. Harvested one Monday as well.

    Nice! Glad you were able to fill the freezer. Is that a white tail? I don’t know anything about hunting in the east. All we have here are elk and mule deer.

    Yes, they are very hard to hunt. I’m an expert. Usually browse towards the wind. If they don’t hear you or see you they will smell you.
