I met Kreg (@PapaRee) in Natchez, Mississippi in January 2021 to tune my 16 Tacoma. Made a day trip of it from north MS. He was in the area hunting. Anywho, after the tune and a couple of hundred miles, I could tell a HUGE difference in the way the truck drove. More responsive. Gas mileage was a little better (but not much due to a lift and off road tires on the truck). I don't have any dyno numbers, but I can tell ya it makes a difference in the response of the vehicle. If you do it, it's worth the money. But if you're still not convinced, go look at the TW forum, and you'll see a lot of positive reviews.

Just flashed my '23 Pro. Thanks to Chris for the files and support. Hope to test it out a bit later today, but the roads won't allow me to do too much right now! Midwest winters............. If it is anything like the tune for my Tacoma, it is going to be great!

There's another member who dynod 198hp stock, 4.88s and 35s in 4wd. I'm going to see if I can figure out a way to run in on the dyno in 2wd.

I think they’re factory. 33” tires. Steve had no major mods on the vehicle.

I can vouch for Kevin with Quad State Tune, Awesome guy and very informative. He tuned the truck took a ride with my wife and I took make sure we were happy with the tune and throttle sensitivity. He made my 2023 4runner 110% more enjoyable to drive. The drivability was a major improvement the power is smooth and enjoyable. Even my wife noticed the difference once she drove it. I only have 3000 miles on the truck but the MPG rating as never read over 19MPG prior Pleasure to deal with @QStune

The wheels are -12mm offset, I have a 1/2'' lift spacer in the front no rubbing at all.

Louis came by this evening with his 2019 got him dialed in with Pro-9.0. Louis had been running the Pedal Commander but after his test drive with the Pro-9.0 tune he was super happy with the power and response. It was nice meeting you Louis look forward to hearing how your enjoying the tune.

Met up with Tyson at his place in Lakeside,SD. We got his wife's 2017 2wd 4runner dialed in with Pro-9.0. Tyson and his wife did not like the lack of power and response.
After our test drive Tyson was very happy with the improvements with the Pro-9.0. "She gets up and goes now love it"
Tyson had his Tacoma tuned with Pro-9.0 back on Dec 17th. He added 4.88 gears a few days ago we reflashed him with Pro-9.0 with 4.88 settings with Normal throttle.
Now his Tacoma and his wife's 4Runner are dialed in nicely!

My 2023 4Runner TRD Off Road is getting the KDMAX 9.0 tune tomorrow by @MaxWorxTuning in Las Vegas. He tuned my 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro a year and a half ago and the results were night and day on performance and drivability. I cant wait to get the new 4Runner tuned !!!

Just got my 22 ORP tuned with 9.01 by j&j tuning in Vancleave MS. I am really enjoying the response that I'm getting out of the pedal and the shifting finally seems to make sense. Couldn't be happier. Thanks KD MAX and John At j&j tuning.

I did some research on the KDMAX web site. If you do a lot of highway driving with adaptive cruise control, you may want to read the statement below from KDMAX.

Does tuning affect Toyota Safety Sense?

No, and for that reason at this time the calibrations cannot alter the shift points and throttle settings while Adaptive (Radar) Cruise Control is enabled. While engaged, your vehicle will still function with factory settings (untuned)

Of you hold the cruise control button down for 3-5 seconds you will enter the Regular (Constant Speed) Cruise Control mode. This mode has our updated KDMAX Pro settings.

We have word that an update to our tuning platform (VFTuner) is coming that will allow some level of access to improve the adaptive cruise shift/throttle mappings. Release data is TBD.

I will definitely post up the before and after. Brian did say to remove the Sprint Booster prior to the tune, so once we have a date, I plan to remove it a couple of weeks before so I can get a good sense of acceleration without it again, then a good comparison once tuned.
