Hey, First time ever using a forum, but what better place to start than for cars. haha
I really hope I can figure this out, it's been a while.
    1. Besides that I left it in the shop today because it is making this horrible loud sound, which either get louder or softer on diff. gears.
when I drive it's as loud as my Magna flow 40! though after 10-15 min. driving it goes away.
    2. It shut off right after turning the key. second time just cranked and third time it started. but...
neither of these things are happening in front of any mechanic.
    3. There's a brown mix of water and oil on the lid and rim of the radiator, and the reservoir keeps getting that in the water.
Now today the mechanic pointed out a leak I haven't had. I know because I check my drive way. but 10 min. in the shop, he points that out. it's a co-workers mechanic because idk anyone in Las Vegas.
The mechanic is suggesting getting a used but from Toyota with a 12mon or 12,000 mile warranty. instead of rebuilding it. idk.
Should I just buy a new engine, car?

lmk if you know anything. Thanks.

    Is plasti-dip a mod?!
Are you wanting to keep it? You might ask around town who is the best Toyota mechanic in town, have it towed there, and get a second opinion. I’d try to save it if I could especially if it’s paid for, but if you’re wanting something new, well, get something else.
