So the last few days ive been allowing the truck to warm up first before driving and it runs pretty decent. when i was on my way home i noticed at highway speeds i had to hold the gas at the perfect amount for it to accelerate. but when traffic slowed down to 25 the truck ran fine. ive got a fuel filter but now im thinking theres unmetered air entering the motor. ill bust out the carb cleaner and see if i can find it.

I know this may be crazy but I had a very similar situation on my 1985 4 Runner...plug off your EGR hose with a screw and drive it...please let me know if this helps...it did mine!!!
