It’s a 92 or 93 Dolphin, there are a few different models. I cant pick out what model it is because the generator is in a different spot than pretty much every other pic online. Most all have the generator in front of the rear tire, this one is behind the rear tire. I dont know if it runs, or what it looks like, i spotted it driving back roads a few months ago. Its still there today. I looked up who owned the property and they are out of town. I've thought about writing them a letter.

2009 Toyota Fortuner MT 4x4. Came with a 3lt turbo Diesel. Made a modest 165bhp but had waves of torque right from 1200rpm. Like any diesel, no point hammering the pedal, quick shifts and keeping it within the power band was the key.
This is the South Asian cousin of the 4runner and in some markets actually comes with the same 4Lt. NA petrol. Ofcourse over the years it has been updated.
I still prefer driving a manual compared to an auto though.

Believe it or not I’ve only owned three vehicles my adult life, the first two were manual transmission no power doors no power locks no AC. My 2016 trail premium runner is what I consider luxury! 2020+ is too much tech and luxury for me lol

 

I loved this car. Mine had about 220kms ( 137k miles) before I sold it.
It had all the creature comforts, a very frugal diesel and Toyota realibility. Was often tastefully modified.
