    Hi forum.
I'm just throwing out a line to see if anyone has any opinions on interior care products.
With the exception of the cover for the center console cubby, my interior is in real good shape, and I would definitely like to keep it that way.
I have heard here and there that McGuire's or Mothers are the best products to use.
And..I've also been told to stay the (bleep) away from Armor All.
    Thoughts..?

I clean with Chemical Guys Nonsense cleaner and use Aero303 as a protectant. McGuire's makes great stuff too

I've used Armor All for over 30 years, and I will continue to use Armor All. The dash and door panels on my '96 Silverado are really nice. No cracks, splits. Can't say about fading, but I don't notice any. The interior of the wifes' 2016 RAV4 is immaculate. The interior of my 2018 4R is really nice, but that gets treated a 'lil more harshly.

WTF? Who told you/where did you hear to stay away from AA, and and more importantly, why? There may be better products, but Armor All flat out works.

27 years from now, show me an interior that has been routinely (minimum, twice a year) treated with products other than Armor All. Then we can have an honest discussion.

I buy Armor All by the case. Here's a pic, taken last fall, of the '96's interior. Your ride, your rules, but here's real world proof.

I just use a microfiber with water. Aerospace 303 on my dash only.

Armor All in the 1980's had a formulation that would look good but but would hasten the cracking of your 70s\80s dash. You could ask any upholstery shop or restorer and they would adamantly tell you Armor All was junk. Definitely was never to be used on convertible tops or carriage roofs.

I think Armor All went through a change around the 2000's and I am sure that interior plastics were improved as well and the complaints against Armor All evaporated.

    Wow!
    I really kicked a Hornet's Nest with this one, didn't I?
Anyway, I appreciate all the input.

    Totally stock.
Bought my '88 used with 180k. Got rid of the hardtop, put on a SofTopper. Put 120k on it and rebuilt at 300k+. Now over 500k! Always used AA with no problems on dash, tires, etc. MacGuires / Mother's stuff imho is
very good also! Having a garage keeps it in best shape tho!
