76 year old guy who restores historical headstones. I live in Weatherford, Texas. Sometimes the drive is 2 hours to get to a cemetery and other times, it's at the end of a lonely dirt road at the back of a cow pasture. I’m trying to get the best performance out of my 2015 4Runner SR5. Mileage, tires and front end suspension are my main concerns.

Welcome to the forum, Dale. Mileage is what it is for a heavy truck. Your foot as well as any mods you are considering whether it is suspension or tires may lower it further.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
Welcome aboard, neighbor! Now, when you say performance, do you mean MPG performance or overall "making the truck last until 300K miles" performance?

Like it was stated earlier, the best way to get the best MPG is to slow down. Speed KILLS the mpg's. Idling is also another that hurts it.

Welcome from a fellow newby in Michigan.

Restoring historical headstones? That's a new one on me, but sounds both extremely helpful and satisfying.
