Fell in love with these things. Unfortunately, based on the Jeep Wrangler, but not much of the Jeep left.

When you need to off-road, and be secure against gunfire and IEDs...

It does look more like the FJ than the wrangler.

Got a "Not Legal in California" patch.
I'd buy a 4Runner and then do 150K of modifications.

Cool! Were those in the Terminal List with Chris Pratt? The bigwig executive’s cars?

Didn’t he drive a 4Runner in that series? IIRC with spare wheel on back.

It was an FJ60 landcruiser but yup, it was definitely a Toyota. Good eye!

i’ll have to research those armored rigs and see if they’re the same ones.

Shit you could buy a 4runner and spend maybe 25k and have more impressive rig than that(imo).

But don't tires have to be fully covered? That thing would sling mud/rocks like crazy

If I was forced to under penalty of death, I could spend a metric ton of money upgrading a 4Runner's powertrain, suspension and body panels. Then, of course, there's the liquor and gun rack setup I'd install in the back. That would be very expensive.

Too many mods and too much money
The standard engine is a 3.6l V6? Little pricey for that.
    Cool looking though.

I got super excited until I saw that it was equipped with Chrysler (Dodge) engines... No thanks!

    It still looks cool though.

    Cheers,
