RCI aluminum skids (front, trans, TC, and gas), RCI steel sliders 20 degree no plates with kickout, Treaty Oak recovery points, LFD stainless crossbars, Greenlane ladder, Toyo Open Country AT III, Bilstein 5100s, OME (front 2” lift) and Eibach (rear 1”lift) coils
You do you! Test drive it first and if you like the way it handles, pull the trigger. If you don’t like the handling, find or wait for a KDSS one to come around and then give that one a whirl. You can’t go wrong either way. I am a KDSS convert personally, but I also don’t plan on doing a lift beyond 2” and am not doing any hardcore crawling so for me it fits. Others who don’t have it, say they prefer without KDSS.

I owned a KDSS and I loved it. I know how different it feels. Just being too impatient right as a 2022 is in the lot right now for $46k and it diesn't have KDSS.
A Pro is there too with some crazy lime color new for 2022. But it is $55k :(

Oh man! In that case, once you go KDSS it’s hard to go back because it just feels so different with handling. I still say give it a test drive and if you don’t notice the difference much, go for it. I test drove one without and it felt like a different vehicle. For me, no KDSS is a deal breaker. I would be patient personally. At least in my area, inventory is improving significantly from where it was a few months ago. So hopefully one you want, not settle for, will be waiting for you.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
A basic suspension lift (4 shocks 4 springs) took care of the body roll and nosedive on braking on my non-KDSS 4Runner.
