Is there anything under the carpeted flooring in back? I assume probably not, but I'm still curious if it would be worth removing, or if there are any bits of storage underneath. I removed the rear seats and I'm just trying to flatten out the back as much as possible, for car camping. I tried prying the carpeted panel up from the back at several spots, and surprisingly, it won't budge. I'm trying not to destroy it. Any tips? I assume there are just some clips or strong velcro somewhere? Also the panel in the middle of the vehicle - any tips for removing that one? Also, there's a large plastic trim piece on the left of the panel, at the rear - I'm not sure if it's worth removing, but is there anything under there, or any tips for removing?

Check under the anchor points. There may be a cover for the bolts hiding there.

Check out the You Tube Channel Wanderlust Overland. Their video on the rear cargo platform.

You are right! I never realized there were two so equally named sites.

I know, right? I was not aware that Wanderlost Overland had picked up a 6th gen 4Runner, however.

Neither had I, will be interested in seeing what they do with it.
