I was wondering if I can easily modify the small/lower OEM cargo lights? I know toyota sells the upgraded cargo lights, but I just wanted to try and put brighter bulbs or LED panels for the lower lights. Is this possible? I was trying to pop off the lenses to take a look, but I couldn't get them to pop off, even applying a lot of force. Pretty sure they're going to shatter if I pull any harder. What's the trick??

Thanks! I have one - that's what I'm using. Just couldn't get either lens to pop out. Or do I need to actually take the whole trim pieces out and not just the lenses?

Here's how I did it. Go to 13:30 on the time line. First you need to remove the entire housing, then remove the lens cover -

Oh shoot. You are asking for 2026 4runner. Please ignore this video.
