Good afternoon All. My 2017 runner started blowing the horn every 2 seconds at 1130 last night. The lights would flash and could not use my FOB to control anything. So far, I have replaced both FOB batteries and disconnected the battery. I reconnected the terminals this morning and hooked it up to the battery charger and 4 hours later she is dead. What am I missing?

    Do you have another FOB?

Try to leave the batteries out of the original one and use the second if you have. Maybe one of the buttons are stuck on the original and thinks its being held down all the time.

If its the factory battery too it out lived its normal life. Low voltage can cause all kinds of issues.

Check your grounds. But, sounds like it's time for a new vehicle battery.

Thanks for the advice on the FOBs. I had a spare in my console and that battery was bad. Jump started the truck and everything is working as expected. Had the battery tested and it is good to go. I guess April fools day got me
