Hey all, how many miles ( or Kms) do you have on your Runners?
Just a fun exercise to see what you are at.
I am at 100,000kms on my newest and just sold my 07 yesterday ( sadly) at 320,000 kms (199,000 miles)and it was running perfectly.

315,496 miles! New injectors/pigtails, and AC compressor is about all I’ve done. Besides brakes, exhaust, tires, timing belt. In over twenty years! I still can’t get over how well the audio system is. I’m listing to Def Leppard on cassette.

Well you can’t get these frequencies digitally. It just doesn’t sound the same. Just realized this is a 4th Gen post. Oops!

I just returned from a work trip, and I had two different people (in two separate states) come up to me to chat about my 22 TRD Pro. Both were 4Runner owners who are thinking of buying a new one. The conversation turned around on them, though when I asked "how many miles? and have you had any issues?". One had 280K+ miles and never had one single solitary issue. I believe his was a 2005. Another gentleman had a 2002 with 385K miles and had only recently begun to have "issues" (not specific) with his front brakes. No other problems.

A few weeks ago, another gas-station encounter with a guy who had 411K miles on a 1998 4Runner. "I love my 4Runner", won't get rid of it for the world" he said.

Makes me hopefully that this - my first Toyota of any kind - will still be going strong years and miles down the road!

I have an 2005 4Runner that has right under 330,000 miles on it and still running very very smooth and strong.

It did just very recently develop the dreaded torque convertor shudder.

I've only owned it about 5 months or so. PO claimed to have done regular maintenance on it. He gave me a stack of oil change receipts to prove it. Other than that, I really don't know.
