High Beam ECT Transmission Issue

Posting to help with a bit of an obscure issue. On my son's 2000, when you turned on high beams or ECT it would shift into 1st gear and the reverse light would come on. Totally fine on low beam and without ECT on.

I doubted his description a bit but sure enough it was 100% repeatable. Threw some shift solenoid and neutral safety switch codes as well. Long story short, its the thin blue flexible PC board behind the dash display that covers the whole back side of the dash display. About $100 from dealer and not a bad job to swap. Good time to upgrade to LEDs because all the bulbs have to be removed anyway. Any of the display LED swap videos show how to get the display out, just common sense and handling the board with care when swapping from there. I know different years are similar but not exactly the same
