Thank you! Yeah, it is a serious price tag. Unfortunately, I also paid a bit over sticker since I didn't want to wait for 6 months....Mine comes with the Predator tubes. I was reading a lot about them and I am sure there is also plenty of info on this forum. They look great but are they really so much in your way? I will not do extreme crazy stuff, just regular off-roading with some challenges. So, I am not sure if I need sliders. Thoughts welcomed. Thanks.

Don't have any experience with predator tubes so can't help you there. As far as sliders and such. Unless you know out of the gate what your specific use of the vehicle will be? My advice is to go slow and choose your add ons based upon your identifiable needs. Unless.....you're old like me? Then throw caution to the wind and do as you damn well please ;)

Thanks, appreciate the advice. Yes, going slow and getting to know the truck before deciding what I need is the best way to go.

Welcome from Wisconsin! How close are you to Garberville? When I'm in Cal. I like to visit the area.

Could be, I'm not from the area. When I drove semi over the road I stayed for the weekend, walked around the town, went to the grocery store, and chatted with a few locals. Thought it was a 'different' place, but I never had a negative experience there. So whenever I got towards Garberville I would stop, sometimes to put groceries in the fridge in the truck, sometimes to grab a cup of coffee, then on to pickup a load of lumber and I'm gone. Very scenic area, Redwoods are cool, but like I said, I'm not a local and do not know the in and out of the area.
