Hi from Kinnelon NJ

I joined to get more information on the 2006 4Runner I'm restoring with my son. He was gifted the truck from my Dad but my son wanted it to look "cooler" so since the original suspension was quite bad we put in new upper and lower control arms (not fun to remove!), shocks, and a 3" Old Man Emu suspension lift, BFG Mud Terrain Radials and Black Rhino rims, along with some side and window graphics.

Next I'll be looking to tackle the frame rust, which is not horrible, but definitely needs attention so I'll refer to the threads to find more information on that. I've coated some areas with POR 15 which I've used in the past, but there are a few holes that need fixing.

I've also got some new BushWacker flares I'll be selling....from a 5th gen

Beautiful 4r and its great you're doing it with your son. i live in the rust belt and when my caster/camber bolt seized in the LCA at 70k miles, I was willing to pay to have that job done. I know the mechanic and he said it absolutely SUCKED getting those out.
