    Hey everyone!

Recently retired from the Navy after spending more of my life in the military than as a civilian. I just bought my 2nd 4Rnr which is a Gen 3 ‘99 SR5 4WD A/T. My 1st one is a ‘93 4WD. I’ve worked on lots of cars growing up and am good at following orders which is how I survived for 30 in uniform. For those that are unfamiliar with the Navy, the “Mustang” designation (informally) means that I was an Enlisted Sailor for 12yrs and was chosen to become a direct accession to the Navy Officer ranks.

Like in the Navy, we kept our equipment in great shape by applying heavy duty preventative maintenance to the equipment. I want to apply that experience to my Runr’s.

I luv 4Runners and the Gen 3s specifically. I’ll have a million questions so please forgive me in advance.

    Thanks,
    Dave

None. Bone Stock. EXCEPT: Brushguard, tow hitch, both welded to the frame. It's good to have friends and a fully equipped garage!
    Welcome, Sir!
I have no trouble calling most Mustangers "sir", just regular, officers.
My oldest daughter spent her 20 in the Navy, BTW. Enlisted all the way :D

BTW: Thanks for the rides about the world. Not the best accomodations, but free, and we saw a lot of the world most never know about.
Enjoy your 4Runners, and feel free to ask anything. Someone on here knows the answer.

Have a great time in retirement.
    Pat☺
