When I start my 2019 4Runner SR5, when it’s cold or has been sitting awhile, I crank the normal amount for the engine to start, but instead of firing right up, it hesitates and stumbles like it’s not going to start, so I have to hold the starter longer to get it to start. After the vehicle runs for awhile it usually starts like normal. It has about 70,000 kilometres on it. It’s the original battery, but the battery still seems to have lots of cranking power. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I am going to say battery, take it in for a draw down check. But I would replace it, just because of age and I don’t want to get stuck somewhere.
