Hey yo everyone! I have recently moved over to the 4Runner lifestyle after getting rid of my Tacoma (crashed it)… I am a broke college student who is trying to pimp out his 4Runner for as cheap as possible to look as b*tchin as possible! So let me give you the run down. So I bought my 2001 4Runner 2wd for 5 grand (yes I know hence budget and I guess it’s a 2runner) so I put a cheap 2.5 inch lift kit cost roughly 750 then I got falken wildpeaks around $800 and a set of fuel racing wheels for $21.85 (not a typo I use to work at a tire shop and some rich lady didn’t like them so I bought them for what it cost to dispose them brand new mind you) I got a $75 dollar light bar and a roof rack for $85 bucks and my radio which was $250 so this is a majorrrrr budget build. I was wondering if anyone has blue prints for a bumper I could use… paying $85 dollars is highways robbery for blueprints and as a broke college kid it is just not in my budget. The good thing is I am in school for engineering hence tools and supplies aren’t a big issue for me. So any help would be much appreciated thank you!!
I am also planning on stealing a light bar from my dad off of his truck and going to put it in the front bumper for now. I also took off the stupid pod lights it wasn’t a good idea to keep it there if there is anymore ideas let me know! Thank your for helping once again!! (Here is some pics of the budget build)

Make sure all the fluids have been changed recently and other maintenance/small issues are fixed and plus rust tackled if it’s there?

Not done yet it only has 157xxxxxx miles my last truck (1st gen taco) went to 250k and never needed any of that and I maintained it pretty well but not as good as this 4Runner so fingers crossed

If the engine has a timing belt, get it done!

It’s possible your Tacoma had a timing chain instead which you don’t replace regularly or you just were super lucky but if the 4Runner has a timing belt and it’s never been done it’s on borrowed time.
