    hello everyone from arizona,
I have been fortunate enough to come across a 2018 Barcelona red 4runner and I have to say I am really disappointed in Dunlop, my tires are already gone and need to be replaced I am also looking at getting a set of after market rims, and I've talked to a bunch of manufactures online, and no one seems to really a consensus on the same answer. I told them it was a stock vehicle and one said I should get the8"width another said 8.5 and yet another said 9". they are the 265/70/17 tires,. is there a correct answer, an when I asked about rubbing no one gave me a definitive answer, or is there not. I have no desire to spend hundreds of dollars only to find out they are not correct, any and all input would be appreciated. Is this chart accurate and does that mean a rim width of 9.5 will not rub ???

    Equivalency table
Rim width Minimum tire width Ideal tire width
    9,0 Inches 235 mm 245 or 255 mm
    9,5 Inches 245 mm 255 or 265 mm
    10,0 Inches 255 mm 265 or 275 mm
    10,5 Inches 265 mm 275 or 285 mm

    thank you

    I run 265/70/17 All-Terrains on 17x8.5 with no rubbing. Can't advise on 17x9
