    Bone stock.
    Hello,

I'm just looking for some occasional info about my rig. Mostly parts availability kind of stuff. I'm old (not by choice), and a loner (by choice).

Got lucky in 2004 and bought a 1991 SR5 4Runner in nearly mint condition. I believe the original owner was young and had died. The vehicle sat for a few years before being sold and only had 49,000 original miles on it. I contacted Toyota to inquire about service history, recalls etc. They said the engine had been replaced at 35,000 miles due to head gasket recall and some components of the A/C had been replaced under a recall.

I bought it as a gift for my wife but she took one look and said she didn't want a "stick" despite knowing how to drive a stick. So, the rig is mine and mostly sits in our garage except for one or two road trips each year. Last year was a 5000 mile round trip to see the total eclipse in Texas and we just returned from the Oregon coast last week.

The rig has a few minor dents & dings, and a few scratches as expected on a 34 year old car. It's bone stock except for a trailer wiring harness and plug and a K&N air filter We just rolled it over to 119,000 miles on the Oregon trip. That's an average of just 3500 miles per year but many years see only 1000 or less. I always wash and detail it before putting it away after a trip. It's on jack stands at the moment as the wheels are out for refurbishing and powder coat after developing a slow, incessant bead leak.

I'll post in the appropriate forum but right now I'm looking for a source for the original oem center caps front and rear and a set of oem lug nuts.

    Cheers,
    OldPhart
