    Hey all,

    I am new to the forum and fairly new to 4Runners but I am digging my 5th Gen TRD Pro and looking forward to starting to tinker with it. She is still mostly stock but I did install a Magnuson Supercharger.

    I am from South Park Colorado where they film that silly cartoon. I am not new to off roading; just new to Toyotas. I usually prefer my CanAm X3 for trail fun. I am a big fan of CanAm and have a handful of their ATVs and SXSs. I also have a Ram TRX for getting places quickly.

    The 4R is my daily driver but I want to make her even more trail capable and comfortable. I have owned a TJ and JK Rubicon and the TRD Pro feels like a huge upgrade. I want to use my 4R for times I don’t want to trailer a SXS. I joined this forum to research and get recommendations for future modifications.

    My next mod will be to lift and replace the factory wheels.

    I will be looking for recommendations for more power; exhaust, programming. I wish they still put V8’s in these rigs.

    I am also interested in replacing the front seats with something more comfortable. OEM seats are hard on my old a$$ on long road trips.

    Has anyone done an upgrade to the infotainment center for Apple CarPlay? I have never found an OEM nav system I like and I like being able to use Google Maps through CarPlay.

    You're pre 2020 so the only way to get Carplay is to upgrade to a different HU. I'm in the same boat. Carplay is much easier to use than the Toyota system.
