Hello everyone! My heater isn't blowing any heat AND there's a whirring sound coming from the passenger dash. Looking for any suggestions or jumping off points to look into before sending it in. Thanks in advance!

You don't say what model year. Heaters require hot water from the engine which flows through the heater core. The fan is what you probably hear running. Check the carpet on the passenger side for dampness. If it's damp, the core is leaking. First, check for engine over-temp and then for any blown fuses that are related to t the heater. When the engine is cold, check the coolant level and check the coolant overflow and be sure there's coolant in both (the radiator should be full and the coolant overflow, at the limit marks).

    Thanks! It's a 2004 sr5 v8. I'll check the passenger carpet. I haven't notice a change in engine temp at all.
