Which 2024 trims came with a heated steering wheel? I’m starting the search for a new car for the wife and she says that’s mandatory.

My ORP has it, and it's appreciated even here in SoCal.

Apparently you may be prewired for it. Not sure if you could simply check a fuse panel for it CTH offers a chinesium version that’s all heated.

The wife's 24 Limited has it and man... do I ever wish I had it on my 21 Venture, especially with the recent Ice Bowl down here in the south. BRRR. Drove her LTD to church today and that was the first thing I turned on, even before the seats! Love that feature.

Semi-heated wheel. Toyota cheaped out on us.
But I do use and appreciate it on my 24 ORP.

You can retrofit a heated OEM steering wheel into an older year with OEM parts and retrofit harness from oldreds4r. I recently did on my 2017.

It’s rarely gotten over freezing temps here for the last few weeks. I’ll take heated everything now.

In Japan (where the 4R is assembled) they do, typically with jog dials, microprocessor control, and scene lighting.

what's so wrong with heated steering wheel?
unless you live in a city where you never need to use it, it's much nicer to have it than not.
Even if the one on the 4R is not the best at keeping your hands warm, it still beats touching a frozen steering wheel or driving with gloves on

Similar to heated seats... Guessing you're against that as well?

I have heated seats and would punch a baby seal in the face for a heated steering wheel.

Sold my Buick to buy the 2022 T4R, the Buick heated steering wheel is very much missed. Also, say what you want about a Buick, turn the heated seats up full and you could cook dinner on ‘em. The Toyota heated seats are Luke warm by comparison. I love my 4Runner but think it’s ok to point out my little disappointments.(shoulda waited for the 2024)

American car manufacturers seem to do a better job at making comfortable features.

My OR came with gloves. I keep 2 pair for driving in it, light leather shooting gloves, pretty much like driving gloves, and heavier warmer gloves. Lucky for me the OR did come with a heater, and AC though. My next car will have heated seats, wheel, and ventilated seats. If I could only pick one out of the 3 it would be the ventilated seats. No sweaty back after a long drive is great. My wife’s Acadia AT4 has me spoiled.

I love mine. I usually have to turn it off after a little because it gets a little toasty for me. Tee hee
