Hey guys, I have searched extensively between here and T4R and cannot get an answer as to whether any tailgate ladders (Gobi, Baja) work with the SSO roof rack. I ordered the rack and would use the ladder to help with stowing my hard shell RTT. Let me know of any personal experiences!

I have an SSO rack and an hour ago I ordered the C4 Summit Ladder. I’ll post up how they work together.

Thanks for the reply, look forward to hearing about your experience. May just roll the dice and get a Gobi but will wait for your response.

The SSO rack has zero interference issues with the C4 ladder. I do feel it’s overpriced for what you get, the fitment is adequate, the quality is pretty good, the bottom mounting setup I’m not a fan off. It looks like it’s meant to go with SSO rack. The sharp lines, black with silver buttonhead bolts, overall I like it but I wouldn’t (and didn’t) pay full price. Wait for a group buy or holiday sale or something.

Thanks for the response. I’m having a hard time with the price point on it. Looks nice, but over $400 for a ladder that requires assembly is cheap. Will wait for a deal if I go that route. Thanks for the response!

Not exactly on topic but I had a similar question when I was deciding on my rack/ladder set up. I have a Baja ladder with a Prinsu rack and they fit fine, all the way up, the ladder has about an inch or so of clearance. I think the SSO and Prinsu are very close in dimensions.

Thanks, I can’t imagine them not working either but SSO said they have no clue on fitment with ladders and I don’t really want to purchase a ladder w/o being sure it’ll fit.

Ask them how far their rack/last bar sits back from the shark fin antenna and I will measure ours tonight.

I asked several days ago and was told I would receive an answer via email. Still no email with the measurement.
