Hi - does anyone know any fuel pack/pax that fits on a 2021 TRD Pro OEM roof rack?

Rotopax makes mounting plate that you can mount to your OEM crossbars using Yakima Mighty Mount 23H. See my pic for example, the aluminum bars are optional due to my cross bars spacing, you can put them closer together on your rig.

That looks nice! Can you post pictures of your whole rig to see what it looks like with the fuelpax?

Thanks, I've left it off for now. Will fill it with gas and test it on the freeway someday, to see how much noise it makes :)
If I had aluminum sheet and welding equipment I would make some sort of a shell for it for aerodynamic and aesthetic reasons.

This is very nice. Would you mind sharing the link you bought them please? When I look that plate is around 50bucks, which is not bad. Appreciate if you share the link for the entire kit so I have a trusted source. I think the cross bars on TRD Pro rack is same. Instead of those nuts I have hand tighten nuts.

I have TRD Pro rack. Wind noise is a standard feature on TRD Pro along with the exhaust noise..:crapstorm:

Thanks! I bought the Rotopax Universal Mount Plate and 2 LOX Pack Mount locally from an auto dealership (they sell Rotopax stuff). I couldn't find any reputable online shop that had them in stock, crazy time!

Did your Rotopax mounting plate come with the pre-drilled holes (4 on each side - 8 total)? I see you have 4 black screws on each side to your aluminum bar.

I just got my Rotopax mounting plate today and it does not have the pre-drilled holes on the longer side like yours.

If I were to mount my plate directly to the Yakima mounts then I will need to drill 4 holes into the Rotopax plate myself?

Nope they are not pre drilled, I had to drill those 8 holes. Plate is predrilled to accept those Lox mount in the middle only.

Yes you will have to drill those holes to mount to the yakima mighty mounts yourself.

Do you know how to adjust or remove the cross bars on a TRD Pro OEM roof rack?

I tried to hand twist the knobs to unlock it but it's on their pretty tight. Not sure if I need to use a wrench/pliers to unscrew the mounts holding down the cross bars.

Sorry I have no experience on those, never had it. Try Google search, I'm sure YouTube got the answers, good luck!

Your setup is one of the exact option I was thinking of in place of trying to do a rear hatch mounting system. I did a very similar type of setup with my traction boards using my old 24H mighty mounts from my 2003 forester (which fit surprisingly!). Now I need a similar setup for for a rotopax gascan like you ahve. My one question to double check is if the OEM aero crossbars are the same for the '20 and '21 model. I'm guessing they are.
