FS: OM617 powered 94

Please look at my add on Craiglist Detroit. Keywords "Lockers" or "OM-617" or "4 Runner" should bring it up. Add is posted as "1994 toyota 4 runner $3750 Northern Macomb". Michigan and Detroit "Motor City" are all Jeep dill wads and wouldn't know a cool Toyota if I parked on their foot.

 

Little more details here. Nice trail rig which could be streetable. 1983 Mercedes turbo diesel. 2 sets of injectors otherwise stock. Interco TrXus tires almost brand new. AR rims. Old school. 4Xlabs adaptor plate to keep Toyota 5 Speed. Everything gone thru such as axles, transfer case, brakes etc... 4Xinnovations front a rear bumpers. 12K winch with remote and cable. Synthetic cable. LED light bar. Through hood exhaust. Safari rack. expensive diesel tach. Summit radiator. Mercedes oil cooler. Rough country lift. Bushwacker flares. Nice seats covered with nice covers. Rain deflectors. Block heater never used but has one. Upgraded glow plugs. Exoskelton home made. Not the greatest. Nerf bars welded up as sliders. rattle. Could use some better welding. Single hairline crack across windshield. Sway bars off. Have front sway. Do not have rear. Rear flares damaged. Lots of trail rash but nothing deep or long but multitude of minis. All glass. heat. Interior lights. Power moonroof, power rear slider, power windows all work. Power locks do not. All gages work. Diesel sometimes doesnt get enough vaccum for brake booster. Feels squishy. Alternator belt squeeks. Tighten it up a few times a year. Not sure why. Slow drain in electrical. 3-4 weeks of sitting does kill battery. Done that for 4 years???? Attica hydraulic modified mercedes power steering. Still IFS. Diesel torque in reverse only with wheel fully turned does bind CV. Otherwise CV's are fine forward. Lockright lockers front and rear. Left front wheel bearing sometimes noisy on hard pack. Prefer a buyer who has mechanical aptitude and possibly owns parts such as solid front axle and/or re-gear. $10K rig with 4:88 or 5:13 gears and solid axle. Close to $20K rig if you happened to have a Toyota diesel but I wouldnt change out the Mercedes. It is stock gears which I think are 4:10 or 4:11 so a dog in 2wd or 4 high but a vicious rig in 4 low. $3750 is firm. Even IFS, Mercedes, trail rash and gear ratio you wont find one so modified for so little.

 

Bud built 3 pcs underbelly too.

 

No Michigan winters. No rust on frame or body. Only salt it has seen is on the hauler being towed to winter events in Northern Michigan. Hardly balances out all the trail rash but just though I'd note that. Originally from Florida. Radio is aftermarket but never used it.

Off week between xmas and new years. Cash sure would come in handy. Come down to $3k. Taking my 88 to upstate NY (Catskills) wheelin. Fingers crossed for lots of snow as my 88 4 runner also has front and rear lockers, Toytec lift and X3s.
