Hi guys, i’m new here i’ve been reading forums for a long time so thank you for all yall do to help us building our 4rs, anyways Im thinking about getting a 1.5in body lift however I have an aftermarket steel bumper (hooke off-road 2nd gen tacoma bumper modified for 4g) but i also know that it will have an ugly 1.5in gap in between my grille and my bumper, is there any brackets or fixes that anyone knows of on here i couldn’t seem to find any solutions, for those wondering im trying to fit 315/70/17 tires on my 4r after the body lift! Thank you!

Since the winch and shackle mounts are on the bumper, you don't want to offset their load paths to the frame.

Cut the stock plastic bumper cover keeping the top 1.5". If you no longer have the stock bumper cover, buy an aftermarket one from Rock Auto or look in salvage yards at Car-Part.com

All I get is this little box?!
Recommend height for body lift is 1". Unfortunately short of adding steel to make up the difference on the bumper mounting points there isn't an easy fix. That's the kind of thing you take into account when buying the bumper.
