I have a 2015 5th Gen and my front left bump stop nut broke loose. It is a pain to even get access to unscrew the bump stop.
Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this so I can upgrade my bump stops? Is it even possible to weld it back in place in that tight spot?

How did the nut break? Never heard of this.

^Rust, same way sway bar bracket nuts break inside the frame rails...

@Zeet959 I suggest drilling the hole larger and installing a rivnut of the same thread size as the broken weld nut. Going by memory, the weld nut was M8.

That would be my recommendation also.

Dang, that would be some serious rust.

^The bolts rust to the weld nuts, and the loosening torque exceeded the strength of the tack welds. Would've been fine if OP just left things alone, though he'd be suffering with the harsh factory bumpstops.

@Zeet959 when you try to remove the rear bumpstops, heat the weld nut with a torch until red, then loosen the bolt with a manual ratchet while still hot.

I'm dealing with this as well, except for mine is the sway bar.

My solution is to cut the bolt head off, remove the nut from the inside of the frame via one of the frame holes, install rivet nut and new hardware purchased from hardware store.
