For Sale 1987 4Runner 22RE 5-Speed - Black with gray interior

1987 Toyota 4Runner DLX - 22RE, 5-Speed Manual 4WD, Very desirable Black with Gray Interior, Gray carpeted interior with split rear fold-down seats and carpeted rear cargo area (Never Flooded !!)

This is an all original, unmolested 1st generation 4Runner that is in good running condition with current Texas inspection (6/19).

The interior passenger area carpets have been cleaned and the seats are in good condition (See pictures). All lights, turn signals and brake lights work.
Dashboard is cracked - as are all of them !

New items within the last 6 months include:
Radiator- new aluminum core with Japanese radiator cap and new Toyota OEM hoses (all 3).
Alternator -Denso Remanufactured
Starter - Denso Remanufactured
Fuel Filter - Toyota OEM
NGK OEM Spark plugs
New Spark Plug Wires
Toyota OEM Rotor and Cap
New vacuum lines (Toyota OEM)

New catalytic converter, muffler and tail pipe
New valve cover gasket.
New PCV valve and rubber grommet
New rear brakes
New distributor shaft O-ring
Newly rebuilt front hubs - 4WD works well !!
New thermostat, rubber gasket and fan clutch.
New wiper blades and wiper washer motor
New dashboard lights (many were non-working or missing)
New aftermarket CD/stereo with USB/AUX input for your smart phone.
New gas tank, sending unit and Denso fuel pump.

All mechanical parts purchased from either 22REPERFORMANCE dot com or other reputable Toyota OEM retailers.

This was originally a South Dakota vehicle, as such, there is rust on the fenders and some on the undercarriage. See pictures.
This would be a great hunting vehicle, restoration project, or daily driver. Very reliable engine\transmission combination on a mid-80's Toyota. Everything works except the rear window. Both the heater and A/C work!!!

The previous owner tried to put an aftermarket cruise control, but failed miserably. I have disconnected it as it was causing a constant high-idle.

I drove the truck from South Dakota to Houston in terrible condition from neglect and abuse, and it still made the trip without problems !!

It will need a valve adjustment and a repair of an exhaust leak at the exhaust header.

Just recently thoroughly cleaned the injectors (Seafoam), throttle body intake and cold start injector. Also cleaned the engine bay. Truck is driven daily at freeway speeds and the 16-inch tires are in good shape with plenty of tread.
