Been lurking around here for while but never introduced myself. My name is Chris, this is my time joining the Toyota scene and its been about a decade and some change since I've used any forums so it took me awhile to figure out how to add pictures to threads haha!

I'm retired Navy, single dad (wife took orders to Japan for a year), and I'm trying to pass my time buying unnecessary parts between the 4runner and mountain bikes (Santa Cruz Megatower/Specialized Turbo Levo Comp). Haven't hit any trails in the truck, but I'm always rock crawling with my mountain bikes. Right now I'm building my 4runner to be capable off road but it's my daily driver. I want it to be able to get me on the trails to ride my bike and do repairs in remote areas. Kinda like Velofix, but cooler! Here's my 2019 ORP:

I come from the JDM car scene in the late 90's/early 2000's and it was nice being surrounded by a bunch of enthusiast. It feels very much the same here. Looking forward to seeing you guys out there in the wild!

Running 285/70/17's. The license plate is actually mounted to the swing out on the right side along with lighting so its compliant, i hope

@MTB Chris what are you using for your roof top storage? Looking to have a place to put my recovery gear and such.

Hey Grant, I put a Roam Adventure Co 83L case up there. Its a lower profile but long so it can store recovery and camping gear. Sherpa makes brackets that slide into the sides of the case and bolt up to certain racks making it so you don't have to drill into the case itself. One of the reasons why I chose Roam
