It installed with ease. It took about 10 minutes to pop it into place, hide the wires and connect to it for initial setup.

I originally had it setup for 5 minute loops @ 4k, but when I looked at the file size for 5 minutes, it was 815MB! It only comes with a 64 gig card, so I may be upping that to a 256gig soon. Until then, I've downgraded the video quality and shortened the loop. It's at 1440 and 3 min loops.

If you try to download the video directly from your phone, it will take FOREVER. I tried last night and it took 5 minutes to get to 3%. So, I said "Fuck that", and brought my micro sd card into work. I popped it into an adapter and uploaded the video in 2 minutes!

This is the night time test. I know night time is always grainy-ish and it's hard to read license plates no matter what kind of dash cam you have. I'll upload daytime driving @ 1440 quality tomorrow.

Can you show/talk more about the placement within your dash?

Thanks for the upload. After your post in the other thread I appreciate you showing it. I had no idea this existed and really like the placement.

I bought it on Amazon, you can buy it directly on their site, but Amazon's shipping was much faster: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PNJ3JSW?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Okay, as promised @broken-giver : Daylight footage showing the video quality. Again, it's in 3 min loops @ 1440 resolution. The cam has the option to record in full 4k, but the files are extremely large so I think I'll stick with this. It's pretty crisp and clear.

In the first video I've got the cruise control set @ 70MPH. In the second, I'm in stop-n-go-ish traffic, so my speed varies.

If it doesn't default to 1440 on YouTube, click the settings and change it (mine tried defaulting to 1080)
