In addition to everything mentioned I would never ever buy a vehicle that was a repo.

As evidenced here if somebody cannot afford to pay for a vehicle such as this by all means the likely hood of caring for it and doing proper maintenance is also dismal. To me this is just common sense.

    Agree with most all above.

Additionally, that wrap is only going to last another couple of years (wraps last circa 5 years, then you have to re-wrap or risk removing actual paintwork when the wrap gets removed). Removing it is going to cost $1000+ for someone who actually knows what they're doing, and only God knows what is underneath. I'd pass.

Don't buy someone else's headache. Look for a close to bone stock with decent maintenance history. Once you find one, mod it to your taste. It's a marathon not a race. Enjoy the journey.

It warms my heart to see in a world of differing opinions we can all agree that this 4Runner sucks.

I didnt add this to my post but its correct 110%
When you peel that wrap off, any area with a rock chip is liable to peel the paint right off the hood. I have seen people peel wraps off and a tiny rock chip turns into a softball sized bare spot to the primer when the paint sticks to the wrap as its peeled off.
If you had a professional shop do it and do paint corrections before it went on thats one thing but buying one used with a wrap is super questionable.

I like how the ad states, "Stealth PPF Throughout the entire SUV (NOT a wrap!) $5,000 Worth of PPF". I had to read about the difference between wrap and ppf.

It could be PPF, they make matte finishes
It looks like a matte wrap though.
Yes, wraps and PPF are pretty expensive, it takes a lot of time to get it done properly. I have however seen $6,000 jobs that were peeling up around the windows and corners within 2 weeks.

You're paying for mods that you admittedly don't need. Keep looking. Lots of Gen 5's out there. Get one that's lower miles and factory stock - and.... in perfect condition. Do the mods you want/need and make it yours. Don't pay for mods that someone else did if they're not exactly what you want. At 38k miles you're also out of the bumper-to-bumper 3/36 warranty on a 24'. Plenty of 24's out there for this price level that are under the 3/36 warranty still.

My advice - keep looking and pass on this one.

Good luck and welcome aboard. Let us know when you find "your" vehicle.

That's a 2024 from Arizona? How it has so much rust on the bottom already?
