Found a crazy deal on a set of 5 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeak M/T take offs from a Wrangler on FB marketplace. M/Ts weren’t my first choice, but for only $500 I couldn’t pass the savings up. They only have about 12k miles on them and look to be relatively even wear.

Saw just a couple threads on these tires, anyone else have experience?

I’m going to update this thread with a review myself once I put some miles on them.

I would have bought those as well. Might be a little noisy going down the road though. But yeah, for $500, id buy those.

Got a couple buddies on Falken RT01's but not MT's.

From what I know they are even better off road. Honestly I'd run em all day for that price. Just know they might be a little louder and less road oriented than the RT01's.

This guys tire comparisons are very solid.

I've had these Falken MT's for 17k miles now and they honestly don't look worn visually. Road noise is not bad at all, great traction in all the off roading I've done. Pretty good in rain. I really like them and will likely replace them with the same when they're due. Great find & buy !

Nice! That’s great to hear. My biggest concern was traction in the rain so I’m glad you have had decent performance there so far
