    The trim piece is designed only to press into place, not make a hermetic seal. Just peel back and rinse out.

    OME Nitrocharger struts and shocks. OME 884X front springs, OME 889X rear springs, full RCI skids, RCI roof rack, RCI sliders with kickouts, Method Racing MR306 Mesh wheels.
    Weird. Dirt on the outside of a vehicle.

    I think thats more indicative of parking under trees rather than an inherent design flaw.

    Mine was just dusty when I removed mine for my Gobi roof rack. That was after eight years of ownership.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
    Exactly!

    I had this trim piece come loose after running my 4Runner through the car wash. I put a few dabs of silicone in three spots on both strips and it stopped happening.

    Underneath the cowl there is always traped pine needles, took it off and gave it a good clean

    You know, I thnk mine were loose also, they came off pretty easy once freed from the silicone

    you spent two hours and $60 at a car wash cleaning this?
    The last one I cleaned I used a single can of spray glass cleaner and about a roll of paper towels. How did you spend $60 at a car wash?
