I originally thought about finding a 3.0 to just buy and do work to, but I've recently come across an 84 with no motor. I'm considering putting in something bigger. Thought about a small block 350 or even a 4.3L V6 (had a 1996 S-10 Blazer back in the day, it was great!), but then I thought, what's the point in having a Toyota? I looked into swapping a 4.0L or even possibly a 4.7L (it's been done). Am I getting in over my head? I'm really green to all of this, but I know what I want and I'm willing to do what it takes to get there.

If your engineering and welding skills are top notch and your wallet is deep anything is possible. Like the sign in the window of the garage in the movie "Mad Max". SPEED IS A MATTER OF MONEY. HOW FAST DO YOU WANT TO GO?
